You can make a lasting difference in the lives of older adults in our community by including Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia in your long-term plans. A planned gift lets you support our mission in a way that reflects your own values and financial goals, while creating a legacy that outlives you.
Ways to Give
A planned gift doesn't come from your checkbook today. It's arranged now and given later, most often as part of your estate. Common options include:
- A gift through your will or living trust
- Naming Senior Services as a beneficiary of a retirement account, IRA, or life insurance policy
Each of these can be set up with a few lines of instruction, and you can direct any amount or percentage you choose. Because Senior Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, gifts like these may also carry tax advantages for your estate. Your attorney or financial advisor can help you decide what fits your situation.
